Brew Guide

  • Step 1 of brewing with the AGOGO pour over coffee maker: adding medium-coarse ground coffee into the dual-layer stainless steel or paper filter.

    ⚖️ Step 1: The Setup

    Place your stainless steel or paper filter into the glass carafe. Add your favorite medium-coarse ground coffee to the center of the cone.

  • Step 2: Pouring a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds in the AGOGO glass carafe to allow the coffee to bloom and release rich aromas.

    💧 Step 2: The Bloom

    Gently pour a small amount of hot water just to wet the grounds. Pause for 30 seconds to allow the coffee to bloom and release rich aromas.

  • Step 3: Slowly pouring hot water in a steady spiral motion over the coffee grounds to ensure precise extraction in the AGOGO pour over dripper.

    🌀 Step 3: The Brew

    Starting from the center, slowly pour the remaining water in a steady, outward spiral motion. Allow the water to draw down completely.

  • Step 4: Holding the AGOGO thermal glass carafe by its heat-resistant wooden collar to serve a freshly brewed perfect cup of coffee.

    ✨ Step 4: The Serve

    Safely remove the filter. Hold the carafe by its ergonomic, heat-resistant collar to pour and share a perfect cup.

    Fill the base with cold water up to just below the safety valve. (Do not exceed the valve).

    Insert the funnel and fill it with ground coffee (Medium-Fine Grind). Level it off gently. DO NOT Tamp (Press) the coffee down.

    Place a moistened paper filter ON TOP of the coffee grounds. This ensures a cleaner taste and prevents sediment.

    Screw the upper chamber tightly onto the base. Place on stove over
    MEDIUM-LOW heat. (Flame should not exceed the bottom of the pot).

    Coffee will begin to flow in 3-5 minutes. Once you hear a gurgling/hissing sound and the coffee turns pale, REMOVE FROM HEAT IMMEDIATELY.

    Stir the coffee in the upper chamber to mix the layers for a balanced flavor. Pour and enjoy!
